Bjugstad is probably going to make 3 plus million next year. If that's what it takes then I guess I'm all for it. Glad we won't have to worry about him. Now it's up to Tallon to spend money on the right guys, Perry types.

Panthers still have no RW's and centers for lines 1 and 2, but you fools probably think Bjugstad will play 2nd line minutes. He's gotta prove it first. You all will look stupid if he ends up playing for the Rampage earning 3 million lol.

True, Bjugstad will be our top line center next year because this team doesn't spend money on good players. They spend 4 million plus for jovo who's one leg in the grave and kuba who's a complete bum. I wonder gown he spreads it around this summer. Maybe 4 million to Jusi Jokinen? Lol. Something stupid like that. Heck if Upshall could get 3 plus maybe we can get Chad Kilger for 5 million. That's if he's done beating his wife. Thanks JM

We got at Center Matthias, Shore, Bjugstad, and we will prob sign back Weiss if you watch the video of Tallon today. I think Bjugstad can easily be the center on the 2nd line with huberdeau and Mueller. Plus I think you can put Matthias with Shore and Howden, and Weiss with his line of Versteeg and Flash. You still got Goc, Kopecky, and Bergenheim coming back. Plus a first round pick.

We gotta drop some dead weight to make room for the young guys tho.

Ya know... players have to want to come here. It isn't enough to just spend the money. When you have that mentality, you know what you get?, you get Upshall at over 3 million, Jovo at over 4, and the same with Kuba. Right now, the youth movement is in full effect and you best get used to it. It sounds like Weiss will be coming back, which shocks the hell out of me. He and Versteeg will be healthy, and hopefully reunited with Fleischman. We then have Matthias, Bjugstad, Huberdeau, Shore, Mueller, Kopecky, Bergenheim, etc.. will we sign some FA's this off season, of course. But if you think for a second that, regardless of money, we would have a chance right now to sign a Getzlaf or Bobby Ryan, you're crazy. We have to make a name for ourselves first. If you haven't noticed, this team is winning right now. Our goaltending situation is sured up, and the kids are turning into vets. It's working. Imagine what we have now with Weiss, Versteeg, and Bergenheim on the ice.. we're in the playoffs. In two-three years, we'll attract the "big names". Besides, we drafted Bjugstad for this reason.. to be our #1 center. Would you like Weiss to be our #1 guy? Sounds like that may still be the case. And if it is, so what? With Matthias, Shore, and Bgustad behind him, not a problem to me.

Now if we do make a surprising move, it will come via trade. It will come at the expense of a prospect like Howden or Grimaldi.. I don't want that, but we do have the excess when it comes to prospects. When it comes to defense, we hung on to Campbell and Kulikov. While I wanted Kuba to go, he's still here. Looks like we have:

Campbell/Brennan
Guds/Kulikov
Jovo/Kuba

I would love to see Petrovic in there instead of Kuba. Jovo has something to prove, so he will be back. But just relax, let things fall into place.. and please, for god sakes, get the stick out of our ass when you come post here.

That's how we line it up next season with no moves. No Goc? Where does he go? No Strachan, Parros, or Skille. That line up is 100 times better than any other one we could have had. Do we make a trade? Do we buy someone out? Who knows.. but if that line up was on the ice, we would be in the playoffs.

Also.. and I HATE to do this.. but if we win Saturday we could potentially be only 6 points out of the division... just sayin. Hopefully Washington and the Jets keep losing.

BTW Jovo was overpayed for a reason. The cap floor, and name recognition. Chalk it up to being at the right place at the right time. Most of us knew that by year three we'd all hate that contract.
